How do you wash your dog...in a tub, at the groomer, at a self-wash? Today was in the mid 80s and I got a child's plastic swimming pool and hung the hose above it on a branch in the tree (hooked to warm water from the house). I washed them all, one by one.... They loved it and were so goofy afterwards!

We just got a pool today for moose to play in. It was 102*F here w/almost no humidity. HOT!

We normally clean him up in our shower (non-tub) but lately he's been going to the groomers and they bath him, and he's at the lake now sometimes and gets a lil scrub down there too :)

In the wintertime, I used to get into the shower with the dog in my shorts and t-shirt and wash them that way. It is just easier to be in with them. Now, getting them dry in winter...that was the hard part. The floor gets soaked. I got a wet-dry vacuum and that helps a lot!

In the bathtub with the shower hose attatchment.
My poodle has recently learned to LOVE the hose nozzle when I am watering he starts licking it no matter the stream! I only share this here because we tried to spray his feet (softly) when he went P on them and he was freaked out now he's grown to like it :)

i put them in the shower with me (not often) then I walk them around and let them air dry. If you try and dry them by rubbing a towel over them, it tends to matt their hair.
mostly, I just let the groomer do it.

About once a month (non-haircut months, cause the groomers wash & cut) I wash him in the bath tub. He isn't a big fan of bathtime but he is a good boy and just stands there while I do my thing. I dry him with a blow dryer and comb his hair out to avoid matting. He;s always so shiny and smells so good... Day to day I try to keep his coat brushed so it doesn't accumulate a ton of dirt!
