[Apricot mini momma]

My mini poodle, Beau, is almost 6 months old now and he’s such a charmer.
my husband and I have so much to do still in training but Beau is SOOOOOO smart that it’s a lot of fun to train.
Hes super bonded to me, so we’re working on that as well.
thank you to everyone here for all the great ideas and advice that I’ve used over the last few months. I’ll provide more info when I have time at the keyboard.

Welcome! Beau looks so fun and like such a lanky boy for a mini! How tall is he?

Peggy bonded tightly to my husband at first, which actually worked to our advantage. She looked to him for reassurance and that trust was key to her socialization. Our bond grew more slowly, but is just as deep now. We just had to find “our” thing, which ended up being trick training.
