I have had the worst luck finding a good groomer for my poodle. She is a little over a year old, and she is still in the playful mode all the time. I don't know if she tries to play with them so they put a muzzle on her or what but we have taken her to two different groomers, Petsmart and SuperPetz. Both times she has came back with some kinda glue on the sides of her face. The first time it came off so we really didn't think anything of it, but this time it bothers her so much that she scratched it and made a huge raw skin spot on the side of her face. We have been putting anti-biotic cream on it to try to heal it up but so far it's not working. How do you tell a good groomer from a bad one? I figured two reputable stores as those would have been better with her but they apparently wasn't. Any ideas?
