Help in training

You can start teaching your puppy the "Watch Me" command. If you are going to use a clicker, get it out. Get some tasty treats. Go to a quiet place - no other pets around - or people.

Say "Watch me". Click and reward with a treat when the puppy looks at you - particularly if the puppy looks you in the eye. You may need to put the treat near your eyes when you say it to get the puppy to watch you.

Repeat about 5 times a day until your puppy clearly understands and follows the command. Then begin phasing out the food treat and reward with petting and vocal praise.

Once the puppy has mastered "Watch me", you can begin teaching the sit, then the down commands. Little puppies just soak up training, but do be careful to quit while it's still a game to be enjoyed.
