My name's Eevee, and I may be getting a Toy Poodle girl. I thought that it would be great to learn how to take care of one from people who have experience with them.

Yes they are.
They can also be somewhat difficult because of their intelligence.
They will challenge you and try to outsmart you.
My neighbour says,that he would not want a dog that can beat him in chess.
But I am sure,that you looked into it and learned about the breed,the grooming requirements etc.
make sure that you show us pictures once you get your pup.
Is it a boy or girl?
How old?

Yeah, I've read about the breed and that you need to trim their hair a lot. The one that I want is an 8-week old female, white.

Thanks! A Poodle is certainly the breed that I want to get, just have to choose a puppy. I may name it Nelly, still deciding, lol.

Thank you all for the advice that I will gladly use to see the right puppy! I won't forget to ask the breeder questions, and will be watching out for Parvo.

How do puppies get Parvo? And I don't have any children, just a cat, lol.
