Hi Barb
Thanks, LOL I see you are a night owl just like me. Am lying in bed now with my laptop with "Cole" lying right next to me. He was a very happy boy this weekend. My fertility specialist vet extracted semen from him , froze it and is shipping it to Holland for an AI breeding next week. He was also bred to my Lola 2 wks. and expecting pups on or about August 25th. it will be a busy but fun summer/fall. looking forward to enjoying this list.

I've seen pictures of that handsome Cole! He's stunning!! Yep, I'm usually up late at night and up early in the morning for work, too! I'll be heading up to bed with my poodle shortly - she loves it when it's bedtime!

Looking forward to pictures updates of your litter this summer! Lucy will be one year old on August 31st so no babies at my house except for on my computer screen!

Have a great night!

Hello Ora...welcome to the forum. I look forward to seeing you share what you have learned over your years as a breeder/exhibitor. You will need to begin a whole thread unto itself just to share Cole's wins and accolades!!! Glad you are here!!

Hi Ora!

So glad you joined! We exchanged great conversations by email a few months back. I have Olie and Suri (Tintlet)

I still intend to have one of your beautiful dogs someday. Would have LOVED one from Cole and Lola - but timing ugh. They are beautiful dogs. All of your dogs are.

I must say your dogs and breeding program are outstanding and very respected. I know you have lots of knowledge to share and I look forward to it. :)

Hi everyone:
Thanks for all the lovely comments and warm welcome. I joined 2 wks. ago, but reluctant to post because of some comments I found to be unproductive. Now, that the fire subsided, I posted and introduced myself.
Looking forward to sharing experiences with you all about this wonderful breed.
Snorpoo Baldr is awsome. I am so glad you love and are happy w/ him. You are an amazing person and dog owner. Kudos to you for going the extra mile in trying to get others to participate in the Sebaceous Adenitis project.
Genetic testing is available to all breeders, and we should do rigorous genetic testing, never leaving breeding to chance. The standard poodle today does not enjoy the health it once did, as such if testing is available to us, we should take advantage regardless of the high costs, as the cost of not testing and producing affected dogs is much higher than the tests themselves. I am aware and heard some say that Skin punch Bx. for SA is not valid or accurate.. still I would rather test than not test. I do not leave my breeding to chance, I cant afford to do so, neither for myself nor for my puppy clients. A person who never bred and produced a litter has no idea how painful it is for a conscientious breeder when they get a call from a puppy owner relating a sad tale of loss, and hearing the client's pain in their voice. I have been there and I know how devastating this can be to a dog owner. As such, as long as testing exists and is offered to all breeders we should take advantage and test test test ad nauseum.... MHO.

Olie (now I know you are Katina, LOL). Yes I do remember our multiple email conversations, I enjoyed them all.
When you are ready in future, I would be happy to place a nice puppy in your home. I know you love whites, so do I , but I started with blacks 16 years ago and now am also breeding whites and blues. I days undefeated at 6 mos. and 10 days old with multiple group placement wins. His COI% is very low (which I always thrived to have in my litters) and he has a diverse pedigree which we need in order to widen the gene pool in standards. I do not like breeding to the dog of the moment, never did, I prefer a stud dog that complements my bitch rather than one who is repeatedly used by everybody, the latter practice tends to paint one in a corner.

OOOPS silly me,forgive the last post.. I meant to say that I have a nice black boy, named Onyx who has finished his title in 2 days at 6 mos. and 10 days old, with multiple group placement wins, is out of a dominant black male and has a very low COI% which I favor over the line or inbred dogs.
Sorry about the previous post.. DUH.. LOLOL a long day for me...
