Very cute! Welcome. Thanks for posting pictures!
I will be posting some tomorrow after Juno's birthday party, (lame right?) I'll post pictures of all the dogs. These pictures of Luna are maybe a week old, but she sure has changed in the short time span.Cute pics. Do you have older pics of your cockapoo?
Luna's hair is always straight, I think she is a cockapoo because her hair near the roots are close to the skin and silky, her hair is also very thin. I shaved luna the other day and her hair lays flat on her body but it wings out like a cocker spaniels. I think shes darn cute though, a poodle with straight hair, the time it takes me to make Juno's hair puffy and straight is insane. Luna's hair just does that lol.Welcome!
Juno may be a small miniature, with miniatures your
mileage may vary, she might not be height standard,
but it doesn't mean she isn't a miniature. My family and
I included own three miniatures together and all are not
height standard I do not believe.
Luna may just be a mix, but she for sure has poodle
in her! Poodles often become curly whenever their hair gets
wet though, have you noticed if hers does? She's really got
a poodle puppy face!
Can't wait to see more pictures! You have adorable dogs!
Or minis are nowhere near that height or weight, but they still exceedMy cousin has a mini poodle and she is pretty big, maybe around 15-17 pounds, Juno weighs in around 11. I'd say there is a 3 inch difference in the two. I heard in the UK they have a size of poodle called "dwarf" that is between toy and mini, I think Juno would probably be in that category. Juno is closer to size of a toy poodle, she looks really small compared to the minis. Sometimes I think she is a toy, but her muzzle is way longer then the toys. Who knows, =/ I kind of like her size, not too small not too big, perfect to carry around if I want and I don't have to worry about stumbling over her because she isn't too small lol
I had no Idea minis could have toy puppies, so maybe Juno is a mini but a weird one lol! It's just so strange when people ask what she is, I don't know how to answer themOr minis are nowhere near that height or weight, but they still exceed
the toy poodles height and weight definately. I think two parents that
were small minis are bred and produce small mini puppies as well is what
I think happened in our situation, sometimes minis will also throw toys...
I have one like that. The largest mini my family and I own together
happens to be my new girl Priscilla, who weighs a good bit and is taller
than the other two though I do no not have the exact height and measurements of her yet.

"uhh..shes a miniature poodle, but shes a little smaller then a miniature poodle, like a toy poodle, but bigger then a toy...heh.." lol.
Who's the squinty bundle of love in your icon!? Did your dog do that by itself!? Its so cute! Wahhh!

Adorable dogs! Welcome! I don't think Luna is a Cockapoo. She looks like our mini Gabie who is really a tiny minnie - Her hair was like that but got curlier as she grew older. but the minis hair is nothing like our standards. congrats! YOu have great dogs!Hello! I finally found a place where I can talk about my poodles! My name is Nadia and I'm 20 years old living in Toronto Ontario Canada
My friends and family hear enough of my dogs and I don't know any other dog fanciers. I have a one year old Miniature/Toy poodle mix named Juno (we think she is at least, she is a big bigger then a toy and a margin smaller then a miniature) and my 3 month old cockapoo Luna (she came from animal control, they said she was a miniature poodle but as she aged I realized she was some kind of poodle mix, most likely cockapoo. But she looks like a poodle!) I absolutely love poodles and I can't imagine my life without them, they are the best dogs! When I was first researching what dog I wanted, I was limited to the "not shedding hypoallergenic breeds" and settled with the poodle. I wanted something big, like a Rottie or a Newfoundland, even a standard poodle would be great, but then I met Juno and took her home and my poodle fascination began. Because I like to groom my dogs, I bought a grooming kit and have learned to room the basics from what I've done with my dogs. Now I can groom all my cousins dogs.
Here are some pictures of my lovely girls =) thanks for reading!
Here is Juno, we got her from a family who had her for two weeks and decided they didn't want a puppy anymore. They said they bought her from a "breeder" a little north from us. I doubt she was professionally bred as her height is a little weird (toy miniature mix maybe?) but I love her proportions and she looks like a supermodel to me. Juno gets groomed once a week by me. Juno doesn't show up well in pictures, her being black and all..

Here is Luna, we got her from animal control, they said they found her and the litter in a home full of feces and diseased poodles, illegal pit bulls, and some deceased animals. All of the animals in the buildings were put down because of the disease, luckily the pups were saved. I was told she was a mini poodle, but as she got bigger, I realized her hair was too straight, she might be a cockapoo. I love her all the same however =)
