I just want to thank several of you for posting your pictures and wonderful stories on this site. It has really helped me after the loss of my loved one in March. Remembering the best of times while reading your comments has made this time more bearable.

I'm also excited to mention that I am expecting a new little toy puppy to be born July 2nd. I'm hoping for July 2nd because it will be the 5th anniversary of when my husband and I met. When we get our baby in September, she can help us celebrate our 2nd Anniversary (now that we are married).

I have had a black toy poodle since I was five and have found them to be the most amazing dogs I have ever known. They are the best breed for me. I know Mom is pregnant and should be around day 41. It's getting increasingly difficult wanting to share 'puppy breath and cuddles'.

It's been 16 years since I have had a puppy in the house and would like to do things better this time around. I did well last time. I would just like to think I can be an even better Mom with all of your advice.

I am so sorry about the loss of your little one in March.

Congratulations on the new baby coming in September. It must be very hard for you to wait that long for your puppy. But, you have a lot of time to prepare.

Sorry to her about your recent loss BFF... But hooray about your new pup!

I never thought that I would be THIS much in love with my little Snoopers, but he has become my everything. Even tho I just got him a few months ago, I already think about the day I will eventually lose him. Not to be morbid, but in an odd way... I guess I'm mentally preparing myself. His recent neuter just tore my heart to pieces... I don't know if I will ever be able to handle that fateful day... :sigh:

Poodle forum is an amazing place and im so glad I found it, and glad you found it! PF is so friendly and helpful and I've definitely experienced great advice, support and encouragement here...

I had joined another forum, but I don't go on there... This is definitely the forum to be on for all of your poodle needs!

Keep us posted :)

Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome. It's comforting to join in with like minded poodle lovers. Some other people just don't understand what a little tail wag or kiss can do to make your day.

CuddleParty, I know it was a tough decision for you to make with little Snoops. I'm really glad he is safe back in your arms. I'm already getting paranoid about getting my little one home and keeping her safe until we get all of her vaccinations done.

I'm sure it will all work out well. Thanks again to everyone. I look forward to sharing our love of poodles.

Congradulations on your new puppy!

I too lost my "baby" in March. It is so hard to say good-bye. When I picked up my new standard poodle puppy in May, the breeder gave me a piece of advise: "you love on her and she will heal you and your family". One month later, I have to say that this is very true, Roxanne has filled the void that Suzette left in our lifes.

Love you new baby and she too will fill the void!!
