I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself and say hello. My name is Jessica and we are welcoming a standard poodle to our family (we are waiting for a pup from Ash's Mystical to be born in July).

This will be my first dog and I've found this forum to be very helpful, so thank you!

We have a name! (If the pup is a boy, we're trusting the breeder to pick the best pup for us). My kids have chosen Gaston after a book we've borrowed from the library [Gaston] which tells the story of a french bulldog who realizes his true family is a family of poodles. The companion book is Antoinette, which tells the story of a poodle who finds out what her strength is. Both books are beautifully illustrated and fun to read out loud to kids.
