I am so glad I found this informative site. I have been a Standard Poodle owner since 1990. During which time I have had four Spoos (fun and new language for me.) At present we have two girls-Holly and Gracie.

My first was a black girl named Treffethen, (after the winery.) 1990-2004.

Our second was a brown boy named Louis. 1998-2009. We lost him last July, truly one of the saddest times of my life.

Our third is a black (blue) girl named Hollywood born in 2001. She is a very smart girl, independent and quite a hunter.

Our fourth is a cream girl named Gracie born in 2004. She is eternally sweet, shy, and has become the alpha since Louis passed.

Welcome the the forum! I actually joined today March 21st. I have been researching minature and standard poodles. I noticed you were in the LA area and I would love to find some reputable breeders. I am looking for a brown minature poodle, this will be my first poodle. I think they are such a unique and speciacl breed. Any breeder information would be helpful.

Thanks for your post of welcome. My two dogs are from this breeder in the San Diego area.
She is wonderful and so are the dogs. Can't say enough good about her.
