Greetings All

Our 11 week old SPOO has been with us for three weeks now and I have to say she’s a perfect fit for our family. Happy is our first Poodle of any type. She came into our home after we lost Ginger, our jack Russell of over 16 years. Long story short, my wife was done with shedding so no more Jack Russells. I had always understood Standard Poodles to be relatively healthy, long lived, athletic, and good tempered. Happy quickly bonded with the whole family – even my remaining 13 yo male Jack Russell. My 4yo son, who was devastated by Gingers passing, absolutely adores her and continually reminds us how cute she is and how much he loves her. I’ve been lurking here for a couple weeks researching grooming and training tips and thought I’d better join in the conversation. I’ll post some pics below.

Regards, Brian

Congratulations on Happy! We switched from Scottie’s and supersized to a Spoo. The intelligence and empathy of a poodle is a game changer.
