Glamour girl

Gracie went to the groomer today for a short clip that will be easier to manage with the muck and mud of the spring. She came back quite glammed up, even has a new sparkly collar the groomer just got in! Note the matching gold nails, lol. She is in a trial next weekend, good thing AKC has relaxed their rules about color on dogs.

She’s adorable with her new bling bling, but she doesn’t need any embellishments because she’s such a pretty girl.

Do they consider painted nails to be "dyed"? I know that their feet and lower legs can't be a certain color.

Thanks all! I felt like I should be strutting down Rodeo Drive with her- instead frumpy dog mom here just took her to Tractor Supply.

Teamhellhound- they can’t have yellow on their lower extremities as some obstacles are painted yellow. Whether gold nails would count as that, I’m not sure. However, the polish is already wearing off, and will probably be mostly gone by the weekend.

Skylar, I agree that she is beautiful without embellishments but it is fun to glam her up sometimes. However, her personality is not prissy at all, she is one sporty, fearless dog. OTH, Lily, my poodle mix, is very much a princess, lol!

That is the perfect spring cut. I love her all spiffed up with matching nails even. She’s a beautiful dog. I’m sure she’ll be a charmer.
