That arrived in the wee hours this morning... all doing very nicely.
Thankful for healthy babies and a healthy first time mom.
They were born in a room I use for whelping but noticed she preferred me to bring them to her in my kitchen/great room. It would be too cool so I set up the Durawhelp, (that wasn't going to be used till they were close to 3 weeks old) in my living room instead. This was the first time I've had one do this... and I must say, she is an excellent communicator. Already I see a big difference in her with them.
This is HiD's first and only litter, as per agreement with her co-owner. (I only breed my girls once or twice, never more.) The puppies, mostly silvers, have lovely long necks and pretty heads. Size wise... the largest (male)13 oz and smallest (female) 6 1/2 oz! All others were right in the middle.
They all have wonderful homes waiting for them and I'm getting emails of their excitement that the day has finally arrived.
You're welcome to see their 'baby' pictures... and that's HiD on the top with the biggest fella snuggling into her ear. How precious already.
