I watched that one last night. When I was in my teens I knew the guy responsible for popularizing the Maremma as a livestock guardian breed here in the US. The puppies were adorable bundles of white fluff. The adults were too, up until they weren't. Those dogs mean business. I can't imagine what someone was thinking as far as crossing one to a poodle and ruining the Maremma all weather coat.
