I can definitely relate this this cartoon. Happens each evening in our house.

In ours it is:
1 hep canned with extra chicken or cottage cheese and sprinkles (supplements), different sprinkles every meal
2 home cooked stew
1 renal sachet, sauced with posh sachet, home cooked special stew as side

And yes, it does feel like running a restaurant kitchen - not a sufficiently fast food operation though, according to the animals!

'Hi, i'd like one serving of homecooked and two flat scoops of kibble, seasoned with digestive enzymes, and topped with hot water, and could I have a taste, first of it to hide my pills?

And Trixie will be having one heaping scoop of kibble mixed with a bit of homecooked or some canned for seasoning.

And for the Cat, she'll have a scoop of canned, topped and mashed with hot water, with a squirt of pain meds.

What do you mean, the kitchen doesn't open until 5?! We are hungry now! What do you mean, we're going to have to wait for the microwave to defrost the home cooked?! What do you mean, you are out of canned, and need to fetch more from the basement?? The service here is way too slow!"
