Out at the training yard we used to test new "puzzles". It was interesting to see how different breeds reacted, plus how different individuals within the same breed responded. I remember that our Rottweiler and Airedale both picked the puzzle up and tried to shake the treats out. The poodles both (separately) stared at the puzzle and then stared at my daughter. You know the STARE when they are saying "Hey, Human fix this NOW!" My daughter just stood there, and then her arms got pawed. We laughed. When we retested the next day, the poodles quickly got all the treats. I have to say that they looked rather disgusted, but gobbled everything up.

Lol. Yes, Zeke would work at the puzzle then stand next to it and give me that Stare that bores holes into your eyes. I guess when he gave up for then he just wanted to at least get the smell of the tiny pieces of ham wafting out

Lol! That pretty much says it! I don’t know how to help him figure out to push the stick (it’s under his ear) to get the drawers to open. This one has us both stumped!

This toy is so frustrating. How dare the ham be out of my reach. I think I need to lay here and think about how to get the ham.

He is super cute!

I'll have to look for this Trixie puzzle for Zoe. The one she has now is much too easy for her.

I think she may be the smartest dog I have ever known. Besides being able to figure things out, she has particular barks for a variety of things: one for "my ball is so far under the sofa that I need you to get it out for me"; one for "please throw my ball"; one for "Opal has my ball and won't give it back"; one for "look at me!"; etc. She is just amazing. I am so looking forward to the next agility class - it begins next Tuesday.

<eant to say earlier that I like the colors of your area rug. Mine is the usual dark bugardy but I want something lighter n brighter . Trying to make up my mind it the m oct difficult. I also need new furniture. My leather is all scratched from the cats. Awhile back I hadn't noticed that one like leather. Ugh No more ct for me when these are gone. The carpet on my stairs needs replacing from them too. I just hate to spend the $$ when I know they will troy it again.

I found my area rug at www.wayfair.com and it was reasonably priced. And for $12 extra I got a 5 year warranty on it. It covers most everything but animal claw damage.

And thanks for saying you like it! I looked so long before I found just the one I wanted. And yes, it is hard buying furniture when you pets will destroy it again. I found a full size leather sofa for $150. It had been in a model house and was barely ever touched, so you really don’t have to spend a lot of money.
