...and Poppy is limping. She was fine this morning, running backwards and forwards for treats, but when we went to go for a walk an hour ago was hobbling badly. No signs of sore paws, so I suspect a ricked muscle. Normally I'd give her a dose of metacam and take it easy for a day or two, but metacam is not allowed because of her liver failure so it will have to just be rest. It seems to be her right hind leg, and she is using it but rather reluctantly - until she needed to bounce a bit to reach a treat, or get up on the sofa, when she forgot about it. So she is now snuggled on a sheepskin with a fleece blanket over her, and we will postpone our walk till tomorrow.
