Its on tomorrow (the 31st) on Animal Planet and Discovery, is anyone going to watch?

I watch every year, even though I know the BIS winner I still like watching

Of course we all root for the Poodle but what other breeds do y'all look foward to seeing?

My other loves besides the Poodles are Schnauzers, Rottweilers, Shar Pei and Shih Tzu

Im certainly going to watch.

Im pretty sure Michael will have Castle Rock's California Blue Star's (aka Junior) will be representing the Amstaffs to perfection (#1 Amstaff in the county) . Love that dog! I also love Dobbie's, Giant Schnauzer's, Weimaraner's (sp?), and Springer Spaniels.

Thanks for the reminder PP!

I wish I could watch, but my mother has kind of ruined it for me. She sits there saying oh there's so and so and ugh, I don't like that dog, blah blah blah. I can't get it out of my head even if she isn't here, So I make it a point to avoid every dog show on TV with the exception of westminer when we have a dinner party themed around the show.

I will brag though that it is an invitation only show and the amazing Wonder Puppy herself recived an invite, lol I'm such a goober I have it in her scrapbook.

I will have to tape it to make sure I get to see it, but I am going to try. I will watch the whole toy group for the poo and chinese crested of course, and then the non-sporting group for the frenchie and other poos.

Then the whole hound group just for the sight hounds especially the whippie, Irish wolfie, and affies... but I love to watch the basset hounds move too...gives me a giggle! LOL

My hubby loves to watch them so I will have to make sure to tape it so we can watch it together when he gets home! Thanks for the reminder PP!

Well I didn't get to see Junior like I anticipated but our friend Eddie Thomason was showing his client Amstaff dog instead. Eddie has been my hubby's best friend way before dogs any of us had show dogs. Its still weird seeing him on TV all the time with different breeds. He really became sucessful fast in the show ring.

I was glad to see the Spoo placed and showed pretty well. I personally didn't like how extra long his top knot was. I thought it looked a bit unbalanced and just too high off the head. Anyone else notice that or was it just me? lol

It was not just you, I thought the same thing! It kept rolling to one side or the other. Here is his win pic from ENC. But then again it is AKC

Oop's I called her a he. lol Well even being AKC they don't always have the top knots that high. I prefer it not that long or sprayed up that high. Which ever that was. It was a little too much for my preference.

I watched it , I did not like the standard poodles top knot either. I like over the top , top nots sometimes, but it has to fit the dogs face. The poodles with more refined/narrow faces look good in over the top, top knots lol.

My sister wants Enzo to have one lol I told her to give him a normal size to medium sized top knot.

Ch. Algera ******* women should have placed. she is a nice mini poo. I got to see her in person before the Euk show.

I was laughing when 3 toy poodles placed for the international divison.

I actually like the over the top top knot. The winning standard is actually a female and she took the group last year as well.

Edited to ask, what's wrong with AKC?
Haha I can't believe I put "he" I know yes is a bitch and she took group (placed G3rd did she not?), she also took group last year.

Nothing "wrong" with AKC just not my cup of tea, I like mine sweet not bitter :p

I think a top knot is to much when it starts to fall over

Gretchen is GORGEOUS! She seamed a little spooked on the down in back in group but in the BBE she was flawless!
