This is Eleanor. Her human Mama just sent me current photos of her. She was a pretty medium golden red when she left us at nine weeks old, but ooolala...has she ever darkened!!! A lovely young lady at 14 months old!!

They adore her. Neither has ever had a dog in their lives before, but they are doing everything right. She goes to the dog park, she eats well, she is groomed regularly, she has just graduated from grade two obedience classes. Being first time Canine parents, every sneeze warrents a vet visit!! They had her hips xrayed because her one rear leg quivers when she sits direct on her bum!! Her results were excellent! They love this dog with all of their hearts, and even bought Bruno the kitten for when she arrived to their home so she would have a playmate. Bruno and Eleanor are the best of friends now!! They love both Bruno and Ellie enough that even though they are both vegans, they cook them up a little chicken to have with their dinners each night.

Thank you Oleg and Tatiana for giving this young lady such an incredible, loving home!!

what an absolutely beautiful dog! that face!!!
Thank you Pamela!! We think so, and so do her parents, but we could be a tad biased!
She is absolutely stunning.
Wow, her color is amazing!! She looks so happy and is obviously well loved! Lucky girl
Love her red color and she blends so well with her scenery.
Autumn is definately the most amazing time to photograph the reds. They just look like part of the natural scenery. Reds are not generally easy to photograph- their coat seems to absorb the flah. But these outdoor shots on a clear day are just wonderful.

Thank you all for the lovely comments.
Wow, that's sure a gorgeous dog. One of your pups, right? Great job on the breeding there.

You're right. My friend has a litter of reds right now and hers look almost tan in certain pictures because of the flash but she tells me they are very deep red.

Yes, she is a puppy out of my Holly and Dugan, owned by Lori Silverthorne at Silken Poodles, the same parents as the most currrent litter (that bore Lucybug- Plumcrazy`s little girl). Holly and Dugan just make magic together. We have been blessed.
Love that color very dark red !
Isn`t it wonderful. Most of the pups from that litter ended up this dark.
Awww, she's beautiful. I love that she has a kitten friend.
Eleanor sure is a beauty! Her color and expression are so nice. And I have a special spot for the photo of the kitten and poodle together.
