Doodle traits being blamed on poodles

In general the poor temperament seen in a lot of doodles is a mixture of poor breeding and poor training..
This may be a little off subject but I’m not sure how to work this forum but I would like some experienced poodlers opinions, is this pup a poodle or doodle?! I can’t distinguish the two very well, especially in the puppy stage. He’s around 13 weeks old, I know he is a poodle(half anyways) but want to make sure I wasn’t dooped into a doodle!!

Unfortunately it is very hard to distinguish poodles and doodles, especially as puppies. Most doodles are 75-87% poodle so they really do often look like a poorly bred poodle even as adults. If you have doubts I would do an embark dna test. But if your pup wasn't registered with a reputable registry then buying it as purebred doesn't really mean a whole lot. He is very cute and I'm sure you will love him regardless of his background.
Yes very much so, and he is just for a family pet so purebred is not that important, but I still would just like to know. I may try the dna test, thank you!

Hi and Welcome!

Whatever else he might be, he's adorable, loved, and yours!
Yes he is loved loved loved!! It just has been heavy in my mind lately because something about him is throwing me off, he needs a trim I know, but I think it’s that yellowish tint to his coat, throwing me for a loop the more I look at him everyday ha! But regardless he will be loved far and wide by this family.
