Is this the slicker brush that you guys were recommending as being softer than most?

Sure is, its the only one on the market I will use. I just love it.

It still can give a bit of a prick but nothing like the other brushes. Im sure you will like it.

Is that slicker gentle enough to brush a show coat or stick to the pin and comb for the show coat. What's your brushing rutine on a show coat?

Yes I use it on all my show coats. I know they do prefer you to stick to a pin but its good to use on the legs, body & tail. Then the neck, head and ears I use the pin or it can break the hair.
