I’ve been gradually (and when I say gradually, I mean grraaaduuually) buying the things for a first aid kit over the past few months.

Here’s what I’ve got so far:

Tweezers
Scrape ointment (Like for tick bites or hotspots)
Toothbrushes
Metal tooth picks
Hip+joint supplements (The vet said last year Fluffy has luxating patella 🙁)
Nail clippers
Nail file
I also have flea/tick collars on both of the dogs.

I know this is kind of pathetic as a kit, and some of the things I’ve listed are for grooming, too, so how can I beef it up a little? What do you have in your kits?

I have a skunk kit: a pair of rubber gloves, several bottles of peroxide, a box of baking soda, and a bottle of Dawn dishwashing liquid.

That is a good start. Although I would add.
1. Ace Bandages, the fabric ones, or the wrap, which is like plastic stuff.
2. Non Woven Gauze Pads, 1" 3" at least.
3. Medical Tape.
4. Activated Charcoal.
5. Blunt Tipped- or Bandage Scissors.
6. Emergency Contact Info for: Vet, Poison Helpline, someone to take care of the dogs.
7. Something like a old credit card or something like that to scrape out bee stingers.
That should be everything you need, although I second Lily on checking out the first aid thread.

I hope this helps.
