Do your boys have a hard time choosing?

Harry has a hard time choosing who he wants to hang out with sometimes. If I'm in our family room on the computer and my husband is hanging out in another room of the house, Harry goes back and forth, back and forth, trying to make up his mind who he is going to hang out with. I know girls tend to be more of a one person dog but boys love everyone and it's funny when he's trying to check on everyone when we are all in different areas of the house.

Both my spoos and my havanese are MY dogs, wherever I go they follow. :)
yup, my girls follow me, and only me.
Saffy is my shadow, unless she is exhausted
Right now she is lying between my legs on the couch
My boy loved everybody in the family :):):) He did not have to "choose " though LOL - there was always somebody "in his hair" petting him and "smoldering" him ha ha,or playing with him that he was happy to get some "alone time " with his bone hidden behind the sofa occasionally LOL Me and my sis were always fighting whose turn it was to walk him :)- he was one lucky dog, I guess : )))

And he was never "in the face" - was nearby and ready for any action available , but never demanded it - was just happy to be in the "proximity" ...

He sounds like the PERFECT dog :)
He he, my dear Jack - now you understand why I search so long and so hard for the "same" puppy I once had :dog::first::love-over: and insist on "meeting" the puppy before I buy it - I believe in the "love at first site" LOL
Call me silly - but that is the way I am :embarrassed: I think that puppy has the right to choose too LOL
Definitely,
the dog is making the commitment too!
I don't know what I'll do without Saffy.
So many people have said they want a standard poodle just like her, even if they don't 'like' poodles at all.
She is just my perfect dog, and I love her so much
I have so many people tell me they would have a poodle if it was just like Casey as wel funny thing is he is so ah STUPID I swear this boy has ADD.
He is loveable, fun, a real snuggler but his elevater doesn't go all the way to the top that is for sure.
He is still so puppy and though well behaived he needs reminded of certain things occasionally.
At 1 1/2 I would say he is more like a 9 month puppy. He still chews everything and though he is mellow for most part gets into things any chance.
My two guys are so completely different from each other. Levi will never leave my side while Paulie will go find something to get into trouble-ie: into my purse, chew a cord,2 pair of slippers destroyed, or my glasses (4 times now have had repaired!). Even got up to a table and chewed on my husband's cell phone...the llist cd go on all day.If it is quiet and I don't see him, I go running to see what mischief he is into. Levi never chewed anything and is still a perfect little guy-very sensitive and sometimes a bit stubborn. Paulie loves to be outside playing and chasing squirrels while Levi will do his business and get right back in. Occasionally, they will chase together and then I grab the camera...they are like little sports cars and can spin on a dime-LOL!
Suri is with me ALL the time. She will follow others at times but then it's like she realizes that I am still in another room and come running wagging her tail. She is a precious girl.

Olie is very much like Harry, he does the back and forth thing but then again he is a puppy just waiting for something to get into.
Cricket only has eyes for me! LOL! I am her favorite person, and she follows me wherever I go. She will follow the kids around too, if they are doing something that interests her, especially my 4.5 yo daughter.
For some reason all of our dogs gravitate to me. They absolutely LOVE their daddy, but if I move, they move. Ryder and Cisko (poos) are always at my side. Ryder will lay by my side of the bed but he does go over to daddy's side to get a pet. Both Cisko and Ryder picked me....and I'm soooo glad they did. I just adore them.
Harry just did the cutest thing this morning. I got up and set the kids up for breakfast and came into our family room to see him sleeping on the rug in here. He knew I'd be in here to check my emails. What a sweet boy. I do have to say that I love the boys, they are so sweet.
No, Riley follows me. :D If im not home he will go with whoever, but if im home he is mine. The whole family could be in the familyroom, but if i get up and leave then he follows.
While all of my dogs love their Daddy dearly, they have no problem choosing. I am the one everyone follows and watches out for. If I leave the livingroom and go to the office to check emails, eventually, they all leave their comfy couch or chair to find out where I've gone and usually end up back on their beds or at my feet under the desk. A very attentive crew of kids.
Elphaba is right on my tail, if I leave the room for 2 seconds and she doesn't realize it she'll start to whimper and I have to go show her where I am xD
She goes EVERYWHERE with me ((I'm probably beggin for a dog that has separation anxiety...but its ok for now xD ))
If i walk into my bed room and close the door a little bit she'll lay in front of the door and cry until I open it for her to come in haha
Perry is with me all the time. He enjoys sitting up against TheFiance when there is computer work in "the chairs" to be done. I think mainly because Perry sits up with his back against the laptop - and it is warm.

The second I start to move to go somewhere else, he's right under my feet, prancing along. Like, "Mommy and I are going somewhere special without you!" I'm sure that is what he tells all the other dogs, too!

TQ is my girl... however, she is a very TOMBOYish girl. She wallows in mud, eats bugs, burps and looks at me with that silly face, and only likes to cuddle when she is tired. She will follow anyone anywhere, she's not super loyal. Minus that small fact that she doesn't like anyone else in OUR bed (my bed that I made the mistake of letting her sleep in from day one.) To prove that she doesn't like anyone else in our bed, she will PEE wherever that person has slept. Not on me, and not on my side... but where the other person slept. Juuuuust right there. Sadly, I now have a crinkly plastic mattress cover on my mattress... like I am three. *sigh* (She's JUST NOW accepted that Perry can sleep on the bed, too. But lately I have been making them sleep on beds. They choose to sleep in their crates with the door open rather than on doggy beds in the floor though. Eh, whatever.)

We're house sitting for my mother right now, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that TQ doesn't pee in the bed here! It's not my bed, and I don't want to have to explain!

OH, and a quick hooray for Perry! He went alllll night/morning (I didn't get up until noon... so sue me!) without weeing or pooing inside!! He got lots of love for that!

YAY PERRY!!! That is indeed a milestone!
All of our dogs love the whole family and each other for that matter BUT Sport is certainly my dog and rarely is far from my by choice. Betty Jo is usually around but really needs to check out what is going on everywhere else too. Jenny is my independant one and hangs out with which ever one of us is into playing or rubbing at the moment. That is when they are not busy playing with each other.
