Hi. An online trainer I follow recommends giving bits of real meat or chicken during training, as a high-value reward. I feel dumb to ask this but, but should I cook the meat first? If yes, should I just boil it or cook it another way? Also, should I keep it in a food thermos while out, so that it doesn't go bad? Thanks for your advice.

Other folks may have more knowledge than me, but I think chicken in the US is too high a risk for salmonella and should always be cooked. Some meats if high quality enough can be fed raw, but you would want to be vary careful with it.

Cooking will help the meat stay fresh longer if you are out and about training with it. Plus it will be less messy.
