Hi I'm Snoops' auntie, and I'm borrowing Cuddleparty's username to pose this question....

I'm just wondering why does Snoops constantly lick my mouth. Every time he gets a chance, he would jump on me and start licking my mouth.

Is he kissing me? Is it the flavour? Is it a dominant thing? Let me know! Thanks!

I don't know the reason for the licking but my baby spoo, Taffy, does the same thing. My husband and I let her give a couple of licks and then put our hand between her and our face and tell her 'enough'. New she just gives us a couple of licks and stops. It can be cute but gets really annoying after a while.

Its a submissive puppy thing Puppies will like their mothers mouths for them to regurgitate food. Adult dogs retain this submissive gesture and lick the alphas mouth/face to mimic puppy behavior signaling to the alpha that they are helpless and not a threat, like a puppy.
