Yes! Normally I would be there right when she’s done, but we had some other scheduled events that day. Plus I dropped her off early because I wanted her to get accustom to the salon before they put her on the table as it’s a good chance for her to begin socializing with different size dogs <3Cinder is such a sweet, delicate girl.
Maybe you can arrange things so you’re outside and waiting before the end of her next grooming appointment. Then she can go right from the table into your care.
That’s what we try to do, to avoid unnecessary stress for Peggy. Keeps things positive.
It’s a delicate balance, for sure. Short and sweet seems to be the magic formula for socializing at that age. Plus plenty of opportunities to show your pup you’ve got their back.
