I asked for a review of the ride from someone who previously disliked poodles but now loves them because the ride was so good:

I have to admit, I used to be one of those people who didn't really care for poodles. I thought they were too showy and high maintenance. But after experiencing the Poodle Express at the amusement park, I have to say my opinion has completely changed.

I have a hope that after the weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth AI may mean education stops being about the regurgitation of "facts" and becomes focussed on creativity, critical thinking, imagination, team work, and all the other things that are needed in the world today. My niece tells me ChatGPT is already saving her hours and hours in her work - the key to using it for real, it seems, is to ask for only verifiable information, with genuine references, otherwise it will just make up statistics, evidence, references, and all the rest!

But the Poodle Ride is genius and the poems fun. The jokes are just like those created by small children who don't quite understand why one combination of words is funny but another isn't.

For me AI is not a good thing.
Like so much from science fiction past that has actually come to fruition AI is pretty much there.
I was always uncomfortable with so much of the advancement in technology - not so much the tech itself but the reliance on it.
And the full on commercialisation of it.
I'm not exactly a Ludite - but have some sympathies to such a view.
Ultimately for me it's certain technology's destruction of .... no other way to put it .... soul
And the loss of human physical / mental skills.
Also it's addictiveness, as we have seen with the smart phone.
