I don't have my Mini puppy yet, but as it keeps on raining here, I have been surfing the Internet looking up information.

I have found a greyhound comb, which was recommended. At Pet supply house in Canada, they have a 7.5" one for $16.99. Would that be suitable for a mini?

Then I was looking at grooming tips on a Poodle site:

Poodles, Standard Poodles, Diplomat Kennel, Dogs in Canada, Tempest Detpuch, Grooming Your Poodle

And she says she uses a "cocker" slicker brush that is silver with a red handle, because they don't scratch the skin like some slickers.

Can anyone here tell me where I would find a "cocker" slicker brush.

I looked on Pet Supply House but although they have "soft" slickers, none are described as a "cocker" slicker brush.

Appreciate your help.

i'm guessing she just means a softer slicker. Some slickers are 'scratchy" and some are quite soft. YOu can go to the pet store and just run it against your skin- you want one that doesn't scratch you. . .

(but then i'm not a groomer :p just a fool with too many dogs)
