Betty Jo and Jenny news

Betty Jo and Jenny passed their first obedience classes with flying colours. I was so proud of my oldest son as he spent quite a bit of time working with them and handled Betty Jo for her test. He wants to eventually get involved in agility with them. However we need to get them through some obedience work first. I want to enroll them in their next class at the end of Feb I think. It will give us a bit of a break but its been great that the whole family has been able to go to these classes. This way my younger 2 kids get to learn the proper signals and all.

Betty Jo and Jenny are finally growing out from their last disaster of a hair cut. Its going to be so great when we can go over and visit with Arreau. She is, bless her heart, going to groom them and give me a lesson in grooming at the same time. I'm so excited about it. I'd love to be able to at least do their face feet and tails and its so wonderful that I'll have such a great teacher to learn from. Thanks again Arreau!!!!!!!!!!! I'm looking forward to being able to post pictures of them again on the forum. They have been such a mess from the last groom that I sure haven't been doing any such thing. It will be another few weeks before their topknots are long enough to be able to do much with. So I'll have to live with their odd appearance and furry faces till then. But it something to look forward to.

You my Dear are most welcome. I am so proud of the girls and so proud of you all getting the ball rolling toward their CGC's and agility work. So, they aren't just pretty faces, they are smarties too.

Cannot WAIT to see them again and get my hands on them and hopefully correct the mess your groomer has made of them. Striving for big, gorgeous top knots to show off their beautiful heads.

The grooming lessons ought to be a blast. It will be so nice to have a bath girl again, you have no idea!!! Looking forward to it!!

JEALOUS!!!!!! Arreau has been EVER SO helpful and kind to me during my grooming education process, but I can't just pop in to visit her! All my lessons have been via telephone... You are truly lucky to get a hands-on, in-person lesson!!!

I can't wait to see the results you get when you start doing it on your own and get comfortable with it (I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE doing Lucy's FFT!!! She thinks I'm totally wacko because just when she starts getting a little fuzz; UP on the table she goes!! :lol

It was scary at first and now it's just FUN!!

Isn't it wonderful. I am so fortunate that Arreau will take the time and effort to work with me to help me learn. Not to mention it sure sounds like a fun way to spend the day. Even better my husband is home that day and has promised to deal with the kids to I get to go out and play for the day. Now if I can just figure out a way to make sure I don't talk her poor ear off lol.

I will be so happy when Trillium is comfortable enough to do them. She gets soooo many wonderful photos of them, and I plead with her not to post them because they need haircuts. Once she can do it, we can post their photos anytime, any place!!

I wish I lived near Gloria she has mentioned the same thing before to teach me some techniques.

It would make me happy, too - but my office would be crabby if I told them I have to take a week off of work to go get my dog groomed!!! :lol: :lol: I'm figuring a good two day drive there, I'd want to stay AT LEAST a couple of days and another 2 days driving back - I'm going to have to build up my vacation time so we can make it a reality someday! :hug: I'm sure Lucybug would be overjoyed to see you again!

She'll get there! I just keep telling myself it's just hair and it will grow back and it gives me the confidence I need to experiment! I'll be anxiously awaiting updates!!

Yes I'm proud of him. He really loves dogs and all animals in fact. So its a really wonderful chance for him to get involved with something he loves

And he is a wonderful young man. He has a tender, kind heart as is soooooo incredible and conscientious when he is here and we have puppies. I can see him becoming a vet or something one day.

Thank you Olie. We ARE all like family. I keep telling Trillium to call Plumcrazy so they can get to know each other a bit better (makes a huge difference when you hear a voice) and she can let PC make HER day sometimes. (I have never known a human being that makes me laugh or smile more than PC!!!!) I know how much they'd like each other over the phone. We all have mutual Facebook friends too and yap back and forth amongst ourselves there as well. A big bad bunch of crazy girlfriends!

Yes its really wonderful to see them become more obedient. Not to mention its really been a fun family time.

I am blessed to be able to know and get to know such a wonderful circle of people.
