My daughter and I just put up this little enclosure attached to the from of a dog kennel so that he can get some outdoor time.

It so hot here this week 98 Degree F with feels like around 108, no rain.. So all pets will get their outdoor time early this morning. Its 6 AM central time and 80 degrees with a feels like 90 . I think I will stay in. LOL

She looks so calm! My dogs would have been barking their heads off.

We had a local pet store with a tortoise years ago, but they gave it away because they said it was getting too big to live in the store.
Our tortoise likes to "talk trash" through the fence with the neighbor's Australian Shepherd. I am sure he outweighs her... and is more territorial, too. I am so glad that the tortoise gets along fine with all of our dogs. This photo is about four years old; he is bigger now.

Aren't they pretty cool? Ours is 7 years old now, he was the size of a half dollar when my daughter got him. He still lives indoors most times but we put him out in good weather and bring him in at night. He is going to need a bigger yard than we have eventually so my daughter has hopes of buying some average one day.
I love your tortoises, Mufar and Charmed! Both are sulcatas? I wanted to keep tortoises so badly, but my dogs' prey drives were way too strong and I was terrified of an accident happening.
Our Sulcata was a rescue, and seven years old when we got him. He was about the diameter of a paper plate. I had a real nice ten by ten foot yard fixed up for him, with cinder block buried down three feet. That was okay for about a year, Then he started burrowing under the cinder block. We finally just let him have free range over the entire backyard. Our landscaping has suffered, but the tortoise is pretty content. Last time we weighed him he was just over fifty pounds. We did have to correct the Rottweiler and Airedale when we first got the tortoise, but they stayed out of his way when he got older. Wilson grew up with the tortoise, and they have a completely different relationship with each other than the other dogs have with him. The two actually like each other, and the tortoise will follow Wilson around, even when Wilson is inside the run. When there is food involved though, the tortoise will hiss, much like a goose. I think it is the unexpected nature of his sounds that keeps the dogs at bay. When my older daughter only weighed about ninety pounds she could scrunch on the tortoise and he would give her rides. She feeds him treats and he will come barreling across the yard when he hears her voice.
