Winner of the Photo Poetry category - Jessica_ and Sampson:

The sun shone down
Samson reaches up
The ball is falling fast
Samson’s a determined pup
What a blast
He catches it
He catches it at last

Honorary Award for Unique Photo Poetry Idea - EVpoodle:

I stand, I guard, I watch, I wait.
I stand to guard, I watch to make you know you are safe.
And even though my mind may wander all it takes is one word,
then I will be back from my wanderings, to protect you from the evil.
And even when my time has passed you will know that I am there.
Watching you from above. I will always protect you
from the evil that lays in wait to swallow you.
And when it comes I will pay my everything
to make you know that you are safe.

Thanks! LunaPic.com is amazing, easy and fast enough for 2nd grader to use. Free, no registration required. Huge number of selections to artsy up any photo. I love it.

The first thing you do is upload a photo, see example where I wrote #1. After that, you'll still see the same horizontal menu in all the pages.

For Jessica's screensaver awards, I went to the Art tab and selected the New Art Effects.

From there you just experiment to see which one works best with your photo, and they add new options which may not be named as seen in the example below. For these, roll your mouse gently over the photos to see the name and it will show in the lower left hand corner of your monitor or laptop.

On her poodle jumping for the ball photo, I was shocked by the artsy effect of the Life option. It's in the 1st row, 3rd, pic. You just click on it and boom! Your photo has been transformed.

You can then just right click on the pic and paste to your desktop, and rename it.

Rose, for your glowing screensaver, I used the drop down tab for Famous Artistic Styles, and selected the Futuristic one in the 9th row.

For all of the screensaver awards on this thread, if you right click on a photo then select 'View Image', it will give you the name of the art effect used.

Overall, not every photo will work for every style. For me, it's fun and a passion, and I take my time trying a variety of selections in choosing to see what works, and I learn as I go.

Thanks Vita for a wonderful contest this month. Congrats to the winners and all contestants. BTW, I used LunaPic on my sig photo - it was very easy to do and the effect seemed to echo the realm of my bipolar disorder.

EVpoodle asked how could she download the screensavers?

Thanks for that question! It's pretty easy, and for anyone who wants to know how to get a copy of PF or other Internet photos, I added another brief photo-tutorial on the Easy Editing Editing & Tips thread, on Post 18.
Congratulations winners!!! Awesome talent! Wonderful dogs!

And Vita, thank you. Great info there that you so freely share. :act-up:
Thank you, Pbg. I've been trying to find a specific site that can put a photo on canvas. Googling "photos on canvas" shows there are a lot of these sites, but I saw one photo in person transformed into a painting on canvas that had the added texture of a real art piece. It was amazing, but the owner doesn't recall which business he used.

If I find it, I'll post it on the PF photo tutorial thread here.
The photo contest was amazing this month! So many great pics and poems, and memes. And thank you Vita for doing this for everyone to enjoy!

The wallpapers came out beautifully. I’ve tried that site and have loved playing with it. You seem to find the best effects!
