I am actually going through the same thing with my 3 month old toy/mini poodle. She tends to nip me a lot some times soft, other times hard. Then she likes to bark and growl when she does not get her way. She is a stubborn puppy to say the least! Haha.
I have also tried being firm, as raising a puppy is a whole new experience for me. I just try to stay consistent and trust me as you prob know its hard not to get angry sometimes. I agree i give out a loud yelp when she bites too hard or I ignore her after telling her knoe. She gets it sometimes, but other days she is back to her old ways. Best of luck, your not the only one so never feel lonely!!!
