52 weeks of 'Tuck Everlasting'

Tuck is my second Standard Poodle after being introduced to the breed by 'Belle' Her 52 weeks has is on this forum. I have been in purebred breeds and the conformation show scene for 40 years. I have never owned or been owned by a Poodle, altho' I have stalked them ringside for many years. Why it took me so long I will never know, but I do know
I will never be without one from here on out. Totally infatuated with the breed. I understand why they are #5 on the List of most favorite breeds, but that scares me for the future of the breed.
Here is 'Tuck' at age of 5 or 6 weeks, before he came to me.

Tuck is 13 weeks old and after his second Vaccination we decided it was time to meet the world and his first outing was at Petsmart for maybe a new chew toy and new collar.
I'm sure he thought every one in the store was there for him to make his appearance. He loved everything. First thing he saw was a boy kneeling on the floor looking at the
reptiles and he pulled me over there just delighted to see him. I thought Tuck would just greet him, but instead he jumped into his lap and the boy instinctively wrapped his
arms around him and said to his Mom, 'Look Mom a POODLE!' I loved this kid. He didn't say Doodle - he knew.

He looks a little dingy and scruffy as we had no bath this week. Just seemed so cold to put him/and me through it.
He didn't get car sick and he did amazing on the leash for the first time. A natural heeler. He's very proud of himself and it shows. He's going to be fun in the ring.

How do I do this correctly - keep adding to this original post on Tuck Everlasting, or do I create a new thread or topic. Otherwise this will get long and cause you to scroll down each time.

So, we were scheduled to have an AKC sanctioned B match this weekend and I was hoping to get some good pictures and practice for the little guy, but it was cancelled. So Tuck didn't get his weekly bath and cut. Lucky me. I'll do it next week as I have been trying to work toward the puppy clip. That's hard! Much prefer the Continental Clip. Easier to to, at least after you set the pattern.
Here is a pic of him in his favorite spot. It happens to be a white fur rug that I got before Tuck joined us. It is beneath my piano as all my dogs gather when I start playing and curl up and nap.
But, I find I can't find Tuck at odd times of the day and got quite frantic the other day when my husband pointed out where he was. He matches the rug perfectly. He must feel like he is snuggling near his Mum or a sibling. ha
He is now 15 weeks.

16th week for Tuck. We have been busy with company, so not many pic's. My son and granddaughter fell in love with Tuck and Belle and obviously by the photos you can tell Tuck felt the same way.
These are the only three pic I got of him this week.

It has been a few weeks. Not sure what happened with February. I'm just glad it is behind us and now almost Spring! Whew. Made it. Tuck is bigger than Belle now (by a little). We have a fun match tomorrow and I spent the day bathing, drying and trying to groom him in a presentable Puppy Clip. Not the best and I will brush him out tomorow before going in the ring. My aim to let him have fun and enjoy the venue.
I had pc problems for a few weeks. Someone came in and helped solve the problem, but in doing so I lost all my passwords and can't even figure out how to resize photos before sending, so excuse the large files.
Tuck is five months old now, appx. 21 weeks. Loving him!

This romping goes on continually and I know it is not good for eithers coat. But what do you do? They keep themselves entertained and it buys me so much extra time. :)

Tuck did very well for me yesterday at the match. No competition as he was the only 3-6 month Standard Poodle. But he stood for examination and let the judge go over him thoroughly and didn't sit or pull away. I wish the ring were larger so I could have moved him out, as that is where he shines. :)

Waiting to go in and watching what the big guys do. You can see we have to invest in a larger grooming table for next time.

Only pic my husband managed to take of him while in the ring. Want to remind you all, that I can take and welcome all critiques on his puppy clip. :)

What is this? I ask. Since when? Plus terrible manners and very lazy.

Tuck is now six months old. Not sure what to do with his coat. He looks like a big Polar Bear roaming the house. I have been looking at youtube videos for puppy clips. I didn't want to cut it too short someplace because of a show next month and I knew it wouldn't have time to grow over the mistake.
Here are a few different photos of my husband holding him as you have seen plenty of him with four on the floor. I was trying to get all four paws facing out so you could see the adorable paws which have remained black.

And there is his Doberpal wondering if everything is okay.

Whew, I'm back. When I sent that photo my keyboard quit on me. Only a few letter worked, thus the luck instead of Tuck. Crazy and I couldn't respond. How can a computer mess up your life completely and disrupt everything.

So, 'Ruff and Fluff' ( love it) were watching at the bathroom door while I groomed their BBF, Belle. Very worried they were and watched me like that a good hour.

Had a show in Logan, Ut yesterday for the Doberman and I took Tuck to get a good feel of the outdoor show scene. I had groomed him the day before and he was a vision. On the way up he got car sick (first time ever he got sick) and the layed in it. So my beautiful pup was a mess and I wasn't able to show him off.

I will sneak a few Doberman photos even if it is a Poodle forum.

Ah Terra, I know what you mean. This is our fifth Doberman. Our first two have passed and we still can't talk about them without tears. They live in your heart forever.
Tuck has a bodyguard and Rush has a fluffy pillow.

And this is the way we do our dishes, do our dishes, do our dishes....
These two feel it their duty to watch out for me. If I am at the computer they are stationed behind my chair. Here at the sink they prop me up. If I forget about them and turn suddenly and step back I fall on my face.
