Tuck is my second Standard Poodle after being introduced to the breed by 'Belle' Her 52 weeks has is on this forum. I have been in purebred breeds and the conformation show scene for 40 years. I have never owned or been owned by a Poodle, altho' I have stalked them ringside for many years. Why it took me so long I will never know, but I do know
I will never be without one from here on out. Totally infatuated with the breed. I understand why they are #5 on the List of most favorite breeds, but that scares me for the future of the breed.
Here is 'Tuck' at age of 5 or 6 weeks, before he came to me.

Tuck is 13 weeks old and after his second Vaccination we decided it was time to meet the world and his first outing was at Petsmart for maybe a new chew toy and new collar.
I'm sure he thought every one in the store was there for him to make his appearance. He loved everything. First thing he saw was a boy kneeling on the floor looking at the
reptiles and he pulled me over there just delighted to see him. I thought Tuck would just greet him, but instead he jumped into his lap and the boy instinctively wrapped his
arms around him and said to his Mom, 'Look Mom a POODLE!' I loved this kid. He didn't say Doodle - he knew.

He looks a little dingy and scruffy as we had no bath this week. Just seemed so cold to put him/and me through it.
He didn't get car sick and he did amazing on the leash for the first time. A natural heeler. He's very proud of himself and it shows. He's going to be fun in the ring.

How do I do this correctly - keep adding to this original post on Tuck Everlasting, or do I create a new thread or topic. Otherwise this will get long and cause you to scroll down each time.

So, we were scheduled to have an AKC sanctioned B match this weekend and I was hoping to get some good pictures and practice for the little guy, but it was cancelled. So Tuck didn't get his weekly bath and cut. Lucky me. I'll do it next week as I have been trying to work toward the puppy clip. That's hard! Much prefer the Continental Clip. Easier to to, at least after you set the pattern.
Here is a pic of him in his favorite spot. It happens to be a white fur rug that I got before Tuck joined us. It is beneath my piano as all my dogs gather when I start playing and curl up and nap.
But, I find I can't find Tuck at odd times of the day and got quite frantic the other day when my husband pointed out where he was. He matches the rug perfectly. He must feel like he is snuggling near his Mum or a sibling. ha
He is now 15 weeks.
