Poodle forum is saying that I can’t edit my post even though I haven’t edited any posts within the past 10 days...
But I forgot to add to week 46 that my mom came and stayed for several days. She hadn’t seen Lacey for 3-4 months.
She said Lacey was so well behaved and much calmer than she was before, almost like a different dog! She’s definitely made good strides behaviorally in that time and I was excited my mom saw that.

I haven't been able to get into my Breeder List thread to update for a while now. I contacted poodleadm and was told there's some editing bug that they can't seem to squash, no eta on a fix.

Lacey is a different dog now! She's older and wiser :).

(I’m posting week 47 and week 48 at the same time but as separate posts)

Lacey wasn’t feeling very well this week. I may or may not make a separate post about this, but she’s ok. I’ve been working with her vet and they’ve been awesome. Thankfully with my schedule, combined with days of low patient counts on my unit, I’ve been able to stay home and keep a close eye on her.

Thank you, @Fenris-wolf, @Whoiscoconut, and @Rose n Poos. Lacey is feeling better this week! I think it had to do with her being sensitive to a new kibble after the end of a slow and uneventful transition.
My boyfriend made an honest mistake of giving her a meal of the offending kibble right when I was starting to transition her back to her old kibble from a bland diet. So I had to backtrack her bland food diet. Oops! That’s my fault for not keeping him in the loop.

Update: Lacey is back to eating her old kibble and feeling good!

She got her first real dog bed this week. I finally trust her enough not to rip open the seams to test having a bed. So far she’s done well with it. I wanted something more comfy for her crate than the primo pad and a folded up towel while she recovers from spay surgery in the near future.

It’s been really hot and humid here and she’s due for a full grooming. I’m going to try my hand at something different... :) We’ll see how it goes.
