4/21/2021 was Elroy's Gotcha day! He's 8 weeks old, plus a day! He made the 1 hour drive home, on my 85 y/o Dad's lap, without a hitch! Very cool, calm, and collected! I'm going to start this thread off with some pre-gotcha day photo's! The journey begins!

Another 6 weeks, another grooming! Elroy does very well with everything except he says he could do without the foot shaves! I'm always so proud to show him off afterwards! Lauren does such a great job!

Gorgeous groom, as always. Look at that tail!

His eyes are starting to really remind me of Peggy’s. He looks like he’s got a lot of personality.

Thanks @PeggyTheParti! For a post grooming treat, he got a half can of Wevura canned food (chicken and gravy). This was a 1st for him. He loved it!

He is so beautiful. Maybe he's ticklish and therefore doesn't like his feet being groomed?

Elroy is 13 months old. He weighs 59.6 lbs (+ 0.9 lbs in a month), and still measures 25" tall. He's basically been stable at 59 lbs +/- 0.6 lbs since the first of the year. He's at his highest weight right now, but only by a tenth of a pound. I assume he's beginning to put on muscle mass. He's still eating about a half to one cup more kibble than he was only two weeks ago.

I just went through Elroy's photos and you should tell other owners of dark poodles how you manage to get such good details of his face. So many people are frustrated by thinking they are getting a good head shot, only to end up with a black blob. You have taken some beautiful pictures of him.
