Default Wahl diamond blade?

Is the Wahl Diamond 5-in-1 blade any better than the regular 5-in-1? It sells for $40 where the regular blade is $25, so I'm wondering if it's worth the extra $15.

Anybody know?

They are about the same, but I would say the diamond is slightly better. I keep one in my Amazon cart at all times and have seen the price fluctuate from $25-50. When it goes low, I buy at least a couple!

My most recent one is a diamond and it does seem like itís staying sharper longer. I bought it in Feb. at $47.

Yes it is worth it! In addition to staying sharper longer it stays cooler in use.

Well, I found one (diamond) on EBAY for $20, so I bought that one. Thanks for your replies!

This will sound strange, but I never have liked my diamond blade too much. My favorite is the professional one. Coat differences could play into use preferences, btw.
