Thinking of all our poodle friends in Louisiana and Mississippi!
I hope all of you are faring reasonably well. Please let us know how you are doing and if you need any help when you have the opportunity to check in. Having persevered through a number of hurricanes including Sandy I know how unsettling all of this can be. I wish everyone safety and peace.
I've been in touch with NOLA. She and her bunch were OK last nite and I don't think they were impacted too much thru the night. It's the people on the Northern shore of Lake Poncartrain that received some heavy storm surge.

I am on the northshore..just north of the lake. The lake had flooding 2x due to the surge, the Mississippi has been almost reaching flood stage because of the old spring weather up north. Today they are cleaning up all the debris.

Catherine - we just have had a lot of booming from thunderstorms but that's about it. Normal rainfall for the most part, rain coming in bands from the very outskirts of the storm.
No flooding, the lake is full, but not over-running the banks.
Asta hates the rain, so going outside is a very short time.
Anyway, thanks for asking about us. Safe and happy. We don't always luck out when it comes to hurricanes and for us, the more deadly tornadoes.
Best wishes - Claire &
