Chai is starting to feel right at home. Since I got her she has been following me around practically under my feet snuggling at my neck at night. My little shadow yesterday she decided that nope she was not going to be my shadow today she was going to Explore!! This did. Not fit into my plans mainly cuz she was supposed to go potty and it was pouring down rain. This is gonna be fun
Billy my 11 month old standard boy is my shadow. He is obsessed with me! He had separation anxiety quite bad for a while, I didn't get him till he was 8 months old,and he attached himself to me within 2 days. He likes my hubby, but would rather be with me than anyone else. We got a mini girl pup to keep him company and they get on so well but he still would rather be with me. He is on zylkene,a herbal supplement to help with the separation issue and he is better than he was. Just to warn you,try and go out and leave her just for a little while, even 10 minutes will do,wouldn't want you to have any problems like that! It's so hard because its lovely they want to watch you and be with you but you don't want them to get upset when you are gone!
Thanks so much. I leave her at home when I work with my other pup Nemo and I try and leave her on her own completely for a little bit everyday. As she is getting more comfortable she is willing to explore more. At least your pup doesn't howl constantly when you leave the house my mom's Spoo did that when I was a kid and it did not matter who else was around. I always think it is a miracle that I ever wanted my own after that lol.
My spoo pup is totally different. I think she has attached herself to the other pup we got one week before we got her. And this, I have to admit, bothers me a little...my husband says I am jealous of my puppy...how pathetic! She doesn't follow me around, but then she doesn't have a chance to since I put her in the exercise pen unless we are playing or when we go outside. I wish she would be a little bit more attached to me...hahaha...so I am a little envious of you and your puppy...
I might be jealous too one thing I did was made my kitchen into the dog room put a chair and my ipad with Netflix and spend a couple hours after work with her then if she has an accident it is easy to clean. Mind you I don't have a husband or kids who can complain
