New study on CBD oil in dogs

SkeptVet posted about a recent study conducted on CBD oil and arthritis. The subjects were mainly large breed dogs, and just over half were females. Vet assessments showed decreases in pain; no effect on load bearing or lameness however. It also seemed to be well tolerated (no serious adverse effects) - however it was unclear if monitoring of adverse effects was part of the study.

Hopefully this opens to door to studies on anxiety, nausea, pain from other conditions, etc.

This is very interesting to see and yes I hope other studies will reveal other useful applications for using CBD oil (for humans and companion animals alike). So far my experience with it only qualifies as anecdotal but it has done great for Peeves' noise anxiety.
