Default Good thing I’m not training Noodle as a protection dog

We’ve been working on sitting when we come to a door and waiting to go in. Noodle seems to have learned it a little too well! We were coming in from a walk and a person started to follow us way too close for comfort. A doorman stepped in and blocked him and redirected him. But I was trying to get myself, pup and my son into the building as soon as I could, just in case. And, guess who plopped his butt down waiting to be invited in? Anyway, we are all safe but my heart had a little jump there. It sounds like the gent was mentally ill and probably not a danger (the doorman said he was also drinking out of the fountain and looking for a castle.) Still it was funnier in retrospect than at the moment.

Awww! Good puppy, doing just what he was taught LOL

We have a Noodle, too! Our GSD is registered as Nixie McNoodle 😄 her name is Nixie but she has been "the Noodle" or "Noo" from the start. ((We have a poodle mix, and our old Bouvier was Boudicca, "Boo" ... so we had the Boo, Noo & Doo... and now a Spoo!)
