I'm in desperate need of a comb. Does anyone know where I can find the CC poodle comb at the lowest price. My husband will kill me if I pay the retail price for it (I bought my last one when we had the group buy).

Is there any comb that is just as good that maybe doesn't cost as much?

I have not tried the CC Combs. I have 2 Oster combs that I like &! 1 Eric Salas poodle comb that has 3 sections to it & I love it on my dense Spoo coat. Otherwise you could try the CC clwarehouse or is it called the clearance section on the CC website. They recently had certain shears at 1/2 price.

Tell him you get a new CC, or he gets to comb out the dog with the cheap one. It's not a frivolous purchase. That comb is an important tool used (nearly) every day, and in my experience there's a huge difference between the CC comb and any cheapo you'll get at Petco. Sure couldn't live without ours!

My absolute favorite combs are the #1 all systems and Ashley Craig (poodle comb and the beast is great for mats).....I gave away my CC. I bought the Les Poochs Poodle comb but the jury is still out on that one.

That is a true tragedy. Are you sure it didn't fall in the couch cracks or something? I would search high and lo for it. I couldn't live without mine. I have many grooming implements, but that is the one I grab the most. You must find it! LOL

Maybe you could get one of the ones oodle recommends for less. I have a greyhound I like, but the CC poodlecomb is my favorite.

I ended up shopping at cherrybrook and got the smaller comb with the course (same size as the poodle comb) and fine. My comb was lost when we went visiting family and the grooming supplies were on top of the kennel. Dh put the kennel in the car and somehow the comb didn't make it. So I'm hoping it might still be at my MIL. I asked and they said they might have seen it but have no clue when or where so I'm still hopefull it will pop up.

If my husband notices the charge the card (and I'm sure he will) I'll just tell him that his valentines present to me.

I added in a good conditioner and a couple of frank slickers.

I hope it doesn't take too long to get the comb. I'm using JW Pet GripSoft Fine & Course Rotating Comfort Comb at PETCO and it's better than nothing but not very good.
