it's one of those spots- gets us all at some time- if im shaving with combs or a longer blade i never shave along the fold- i come back with a 30 after and trim up the edge and the underside of the flap

I got Sookie in that spot with a 4 blade the first time I attempted a full groom on my own. I was mortified, but she barely noticed. We just did topical ABO for a week or so and it healed fine. I learned my lesson and am now VERY careful.

I don't really like blade combs. They make more work and take more time for me than naked blades, so they're not my preference if I can use a lower number blade instead. But I'm getting grooming lessons and she's urging me to use the combs so I did. I had no idea this could even happen with them! Lesson learned the hard and expensive way!
