We might add another dog in a future, we first want to wait for Pompadour to mature into an adult dog, he still needs training, my handler is helping us and he is making good progress.
So I'm thinking in the breed for the other dog, so far they are cockers english and american , shih tzus, pomeranians, and for this thread I want to know about whippets.
I never thought about a possibility to own one until I saw one in person in a show a couple of years ago.
It was a solid white female, I liked how elegant and refined she looked also her energy and how calm she was

then handler took a white and brindle male and gave me the same impression.
At every dog show I always wait to see the handler and the whippets, he almost always come with at least two, he comes from El Salvador to show here.
Since then I have being researching about the breed and it seem it would be a great match for me.
Days ago I took the test in the whippet club
American Whippet Club , and get almost all the questions right minus for two the one of the kids (I'm the youngest one in the house) and the one of the vet as the breed very rare in my country.
I found that the questions where almost like describing Pompadour's personality

it was fun.
I have questions on the breed:
How is dog and same sex agression?
how they are with smaller dogs?
exercise needed?
Trainability?
