Default Big News: The Baby Is Coming Early!

My baby is due Feb.12th, but after my Dr.
appointment this morning discussing the birth ,
I am having a c-section now scheduled Feb.4th
due to my Dr.and I's concern due to some previous
surgery I had and how that can affect a normal vaginal
birth. So looks like the baby is coming earlier than
expected, the day of the c-section is on my brother's
b-day so I don't know how he is going to feel sharing
his b-day now with the new baby, lol. My Dr. told me I
will be hospitalized 1 or 2 days, but that is normal (even
for a normal birth). The only thing I am worried about is
that nasty needle (not an epidural but very similar I was told)
that will be inserted into my back and the fact I will be awake
when they are digging the baby out! EW!

I'm just ready to get it over with, but I am nervous as can be!

Nah, you were just curious is all! I am not embarrassed in the least
to tell everyone the reason why, having a c-section would be the
safer way I was told to avoid things that could affect me afterwards
having it normally.

wow...MM. Well I guess that's good new's that the doc's are taking precausions. I don't know about the 1 or 2 day thing. Take your time recovering as after a c section your going to tender. Even for a vaginal birth you stay in hospital for 2 days. In Ca usually 3 days for a C section.

All Im getting at is don't rush home. Take your time getting used to being a mommy and having a good recovery.

yes, take your time recovering and learning how to be a new mama!! Do you plan on breastfeeding?? If you want to talk any time about mothering I would be more than willing to share my experiences and help you along the way!! Although from what I can see on how you are with your fur babies I can tell you will have no problem!!

Yeah, I'm glad the Dr. is taking precautions as well. What is strange
is I figured I was going to have a c-section, and my husband and
I was talking about my worries of a normal birth in the waiting room
and when I went to back to see the doctor he wanted to discuss a
possible c-section with me after seeing my my past records he received.
I am a little relieved myself, I prefer a c-section to reassure my worries of
something going wrong and I told my Dr. that and now we have it
scheduled.

Trust me, I will prolly not feel like rushing home right away, lol. I will
take my time recovering.
