Dobes are moving out.
So... no more dobes for me. My bf got a job in Seattle, WA and will be moving out on the 15th. It's really sad, but both of us decided that this would be the end of our road together as we are both definitely not long distance relationship people.
I'm going to miss the dobermans and of course my boyfriend, but I guess things happen for a reason :(

But wait... why not go out to Seattle? I lived there for 12 years and it is an awesome city. Great food, theater, music, bookstores. Very outdoorsy culture: hiking, boating, skiing, mountain biking.
Husband and I will probably move back when kids are out of high school.

Oh wow!! What a crappy way to ring in a new year! You are right though...everything DOES happen for a reason. Still, I will be thinking about you, because no matter how practical things are, they still hurt. HUGS!!

Aaawww... thanks for the hugs Arreausp.
Cbrand... I would love to move to Seattle, but honestly... I LOVE the job I have now, and I've worked really hard to get where I'm currently at.
We have a very good relationship, but I've made the mistake of uprooting my life for love before... which did not exactly have the happy ending I was hoping for. Besides, if this love is meant to prevail the test of time/distance then it will.
oh, this sucks!

I'm sorry. I'm sure you two are making the right decision for yourselves, though.
Seattle is my 'dream' city. Who's hiring? LOL. Kidding.

I wish they were hiring.... maybe I'd apply for a new job! But no, actually his job had an open position for one of their branches in Seattle and he applied to and got the job. It's closer to his family who lives in Montana.

ohhh hun.......... ((hugs)) that's gotta be hard, regardless of how practical and sensible it all is!
You still have Ponki tho! Will you consider another dog in there too?
I'm sure that, like you said, it'll work out if it's supposed to; the universe won't let you make these decisions without good reason.

So sorry Ponki , it really sucks !!!! : (((( But I agree with your decision - no ring - no move LOL !!!!! I also never believed in "long distance" relationships - especially without commitment - ughhhh, it still must hurt like hell but this maybe was a needed "test" for your relationship and I agree with what Flying said

Awww I'm sorry, I know that must be difficult. Wishpoo said it well that maybe this is a test. That which doesn't kill us make us stronger after all... right?
(((HUGS))) to you.
