I'm not a nurse, but I've had a similar experience.
First off, you should dilute the hydrogen peroxide with water. Half and half. I burned the inside of my ear pretty bad from using just plain peroxide after using alcohol in it too, but in the end it worked so I was pretty happy despite the pain I had for the next few days.
What happened to me was that I went swimming, and water got into my ears at the pool. The water moved the ear wax in my ear so that it was blocking the opening so I couldn't hear. I thought it was just water and used alcohol, but it didn't work. Looked up some remedies on the internet and figured it had to be ear wax since alcohol was clearing up the problem. I started pouring peroxide in my ear and let it sit until it was really in my ear and it stopped bubbling. Then I let it drain. It wasn't pleasant, but it was starting to work. I rinsed and repeated a couple more times and viola problem solved. It did cost me a few days of ear pain. I couldn't touch my ear or move it because the inside hurt whenever I did. The half and half solution should remedy this though.
If you had insurance I would say go to a Ear and Throat doctor to get it removed. They use more effective methods and are usually quick and painless.
