UPDATE on Princess the Labradoodle
Hey guys! I came here and posted a few weeks ago about a labradoodle I am trying to rescue, who has been neglected her entire life (has lived three years in a 4' x 6' concrete kennel) and as a result has a few issues (neurotic spinning, potty training difficulties). She is an absolute sweetheart, is very gentle, and loves to cuddle.
You can read about her back story in my original post:
New here- trying to help save a Labradoodle
Anyways, I just wanted to provide an exciting update! Princess has finally been spayed, and is fully recovered! The doctors have offered to just give her to me, because they don't have time to work with her, and just want her placed in a home (and they know I adore her). If I don't take her, they will probably advertise her on craigslist, and interview potential adopters, but I don't know how likely the right kind of person would find her on craigslist . . .
I am unable to afford another dog- but I am willing to foster her until the right home comes along . . . . any help placing her would be absolutely wonderful, and if anyone is interested in a special girl who needs a bit of patience and work, please let me know- Here are some pictures of her in my home after a bath and groom (I am unsure if posting pictures of a dog is permitted by the forum- I read the rules, and didn't see anything, so let me know if I need to remove these).

I am so glad that you are making progress, and that life is looking rosier for Princess. I'm sure someone will be able to help with finding her the perfect home. Are you on any Labradoodle forums - they may know the right people to talk to.

Glad you were there to help Princess --- and you may end up being the perfect Forever Home, too!

You are such a wonderful person to help princess, she is so pretty, praying that the right person will see her and give her a forever home and the love she needs. Wow, if her face was cleen , it would be hard to tell that she is not all poodle, very pretty girl. And I don't think that anyone here on PF, is so cold hearted that they mind you posting picts of her, we, post picts of all our wonderful animals here on the forum, not just our dogs, and not just our poodles. There good people here.Good luck finding her the right, loving home.

Megoony: It would be fantastic if your brother-in-law did decide to give Princess a home! That is the happy ending I'm going to wish for her, and for you.

Megoony-I cannot express how much I've enjoyed looking at this beautiful girl! If it weren't for this one being a girl, I'd swear it was my Max reincarnated. The eyes in the 2nd picture posted are his eyes to the t! Reading your last post, it appears that you've lined up a potential home already. Really, she is gorgeous and looks very smart. She's going to make someone a wonderful companion.
