I shaved it similar to a poodle face, only with a #5F blade, and trimmed up her ears and "topknot". About 4 weeks ago I shaved her body with a #5/8, because it was simply to long to handle, and today I scissor trimmed her legs and feet.

She looks great ! Did you talk to your brother in law about taking her ? If he is looking for a dog, there she is,she would have a home if she was in the Dinver area. Please keep us posted on her.Thanks.

Brother in law (really my sister's brother in law I guess) was interested, but not in a stable enough financial situation at this time. However, my younger sister has a very close friend who is very very interested in Princess :-) She has a young golden-doodle, and wants a playmate for her (the golden-doodle looks JUST like Peaches' best doggie friend at the clinic- so hopefully they will get along). I have spoken with her, and she is aware of Princess's spinning/OCD issues and past, and I have arranged a meeting time for next weekend :-) She is a nursing student who is moving out of her parents after graduation in May, so if the match is a good one, Princess might go home with her in May (which will give me more time to work with her on potty and behavior issues). I am very excited about this match, because Princess is really a woman's dog . . . she definitely gravitates towards me and is much shyer around my fiance- my mother and sister have told me that this young lady is one of the most patient people they have ever met, so she might be exactly what Princess needs. We shall see!

Wasn't really ready for a second dog, but it looks like I have one. lol. Every new bit of progress she makes is its own reward. I love this girl, and am trying to keep her . . . my summer job in Alaska may complicate things, but we're going to try and make it work :-) I really think she belongs with me. I'm also giving my two weeks notice at the clinic within the next month . . . thank god.

What good news - she was so obviously a dog that "spoke to you" from the first. I am she now go from strength to strength with you - wishing you many happy, loving years together!
