I did some flyball for a while with a local club, but Ponki didn't really get into it as I had hoped she would. She was a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing and I thought it would blow over in a couple of weeks, but she would have a few good days and would then just shut down completely, which made it really hard to keep going. I eventually decided to just pull her out of the class.

I think flyball is a hard sell for some poodles. Perhaps give agility a try. Did you see the lure coursing thread? That looks fun. There are tons of new members for you to meet.

No, never even thought about lure coursing... she might really enjoy that, as she's pretty fast for her small size. Do you have a link to the thread?

Welcome back. I think I might have said something about flyball and agility when you originally posted about which to do. I tried flyball with Lily but didn't find that it did much for our relationship. I also thought it was a little risky for her shoulders and potential future in obedience and agility for jumping.
Give agility a try or maybe you would like to try rally (or regular obedience). For all of those activities (agility, rally and obedience) you really build great communication with your dog and I think being involved in all of them has made Lily a much better dog and has made our relationship much more deeply connected.

Lure Coursing!
I agree with Catherine about obedience and agility building up the relationship you have with your dog and it is fun, fun fun. A great confidence builder for your dog too.
